Ashtanga yoga is a system of yoga transmitted to the modern world by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (1915-2009). This method of yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures—a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. Room Temp. 75-80
If you've never done yoga before, know someone who may need yoga in their life, or you simply want to re-access your practice, this is the class to start with.Yoga is accessible for everyone, no matter what you look like, how old you are, how you dress, how much you weigh, what you do for a living, where you live or what religion you practice. Yoga is in no way exclusive. Never be ok with pain. A certain amount of discomfort is ok, but pain is your body’s way of telling you to back off.
Why Should I Do Yoga?
There are so many benefits of doing yoga. Yoga can help you:
improve and maintain the health of muscles, joints and organs
keep your mind healthy
get a better night’s sleep
improve performance and prevent injuries in sports

and increase your sense of happiness and well being.
It’s a practice that is both physical exercise, helping improve toning, stamina, posture, strength, balance and flexibility, as well as a discipline that helps you de-stress, relax, feel healthier and more energetic.

Deep Stretch 26

Deep Stretch is essential in balancing the effects of more active forms of yoga (Yang) or exercises. In this class, we apply the principles of Yin, a slower & longer hold per pose to deliver moderate stress to the connective tissues-the tendons, fascia, and ligaments- with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. Because of the slower pace, there is more time to incorporate deeper breaths and longer stretches to improve the flow of subtle energy for better organ health, immunity, and emotional well being.  YOU ARE READY…RISE AND SHINE.

The Hot Yoga Difference

Rise Power Yoga is all about the well being of our clients, YOU. It is our intention to invest on what is HEALTHY & CLEAN without the expense of our planet or your immune system. We feel that investing on Cutting-Edge Eco-Friendly Heating System will make that difference.

Infrared or radiant heating is simply the transfer of heat from a warm object to a cooler object. The heat is a product of a completely safe spectrum of light that is invisible to our eyes.Just as the sun has been heating people here on earth for thousands of years, infrared heating panels radiate sun-like warmth directly to the body, rather than heating the air.

Our radiant heating panels are safer and healthier than traditional forms of heat, as they do not rely on fossil fuels, blow dust or allergens, or make noise. They also do not need filters, fuels, ducts or pumps that require seasonal cleaning and maintenance. Plus, this is a technology proudly made in the USA, are 99-100% recyclable, and the heating panel products are recognized by LEED ratings!
